My dear friends,

As you probably already know, it has been more than a year that I have only one idea stuck in my head and for which I do all that is possible so it can see the light. After my long cycling trip through India, I am thirsty for more horizons and a much longer trip that will push the limits of my reason and my body farther than I have done it. In September 08, I will hop on my bicycle and pedal my way from Tarifa (the most Southern village of Spain) to the eastern sea of China (passing through Russia, Kazakhstan and Mongolia). I tried to get sponsors but my bearded face doesn’t seem to interest them, so after a long meditation around a cup of tea, I realized that I could have never done all those trips without the help of the people who open their doors to me, fed me and loved me. Their and your support has been my only fuel.

So today, I am once again relying on you/them to sponsor my journey. Although my job in the UAE will please my bank account, it will never be enough to cycling all the way to China. So I have decided to grab the bull by the horns and handcraft my own postcards.

I have therefore selected a series of images that I will turn into postcards according to your will (they are real photographs and no cheap copies printed off my computer). Now, I am aware that your wallet is not in greater health than mine and will not be offended if you do not buy a package, however, you might know people who will and you could easily spread the message (as I spread the love) and intelligently contribute to my project.

1)      Since the invention of emails, less and less people write letters to relatives so as to tell them, in a beautiful handwriting, how much they love them.

2)      By sending one of my postcards, you are saving postmen from unemployment and contribute to the planet’s well-being.

3)      Writing a letter is spiritually healthy and prevents global warming (to be proven though).

4)      Each package I sell will allow me to cycle 196.8km (I have more than 20.000km to cycle!)

5)      Each picture will be signed by my own hand, and who knows, I might one day be famous. It’s like playing with global economy, if you will (or pure insanity).
